Performed for the Dixie Chicks!!!

Hey Everyone!!!!

Well I just got back from Halifax entertaining for a private function on Tuesday evening. The Dixie Chicks were in town for two nights performing and I was chosen to perform at their wrap party. How exciting. It was very strange to see them walk into the vicinity and even stranger to be singing with them sitting 15 feet away. This was definitely one of the highlights of my career so far. I am such a big fan of the "Chicks". Martie sat with a glass of wine and listened to my entire set. I have been so busy with my career especially with the release of my CD that I haven't had time to reflect on the past year and how far I've come. If you were to ask me last year if I thought this was a possibility I would never have dreamed I would meet them and especially perform for them. So... things are continuing to go well!!!! Rock the Dock is on Saturday so I hope to see some of you at the venue. I am very excited to be playing with George Canyon.... Wonder Why has been added to regular rotation on a major Country Station in Ottawa which is very cool. I have had so much support it has been overwhelming. I will be shooting the Fall commercial for Destination Cape Breton soon which will be airing in Sept. and Oct. Lots of stuff happening. I will continue to keep you informed.
